This page contains some of the works of which I am most proud.
Lessons in Life may be easily won, but often are unrecognized.  I
have learned that there is a lesson in every event, good or bad, and
one's life is changed (for good or bad) with every choice; only
retrospect will determine whether we did the "right" thing in a
particular situation and time.   For myself, I recognize that I have
made many poor choices, but I have also learned unique lessons as
a result.  Looking back, I would not change most of those choices,
because they have led me to the place I am now, and will influence
the direction of future journeys.
Encouragement

I know well of my failures,
so tell me not of these.
Tell me not about my shortcomings,
for I can only strive to please.
Tell me 'stead of all my victories;
say the failures do not matter.
Tell me my rights--and my wrongs--
just do not stress the latter.

Difference

The differences between us
     are neither wrong nor bad;
They stem from what we’ve learned,
     the experiences we’ve had.
We’ve made our own decisions
     based on insights we acquired
Through triumph and adversity
     and lessons these inspired.

The differences between us
     can only be for good;
They emphasize diversity,
     each value understood—
As colors of a spectrum,
     each blending with the next,
Though diminishing in contrast,
     still valid in context.

The differences between us
     are both clear and hard to see,
For neither lack nor excess
     precludes that they agree.
Our balance like a melody,
     each note a complement—
To love in flawless harmony,
     to be where we are meant.
